German CanSat-Competition 2014

The first German CanSat-Competition was announced in January 2014. In total 36 teams from 10 federal states applied for the competition. 10 teams were selected by the jury for participation. The following seven month the students were busy with construction and building their satellites. The launch campaign was held from 6. to 10. October 2014 in Bremen. The highlight was the launch of the satellites with a rocket from the aerodrome Rotenburg (Wümme) on Wednesday 8. October.

The jury and the organisers were impressed by the high quality of the projects of the participating teams as well as by the team spirit that emerged between the teams. A list of the individual team-projects is provided here (German).
